We established our team in September of 2022 and have been conducting workshops ever since. Our passion for teaching kids about STEAM continues to grow as time flows! Below are examples of our past workshops and the concept's we've taught.
Previous Workshops
Please note that the workshops shown here are not ALL the workshops we have conducted and the curricula we teach will continue to change, in order to adapt to the kids and their ideal learning styles!
This is an engineering based project that allows children to build and test a car powered by the force of air escaping from a balloon. They also learn the importance of the engineering design process and the importance of trial and error.
This is an engineering based project that elevates the classic activity of making paper airplanes, and elevate it. This experiment teaches children about the basic principles of aerodynamics and engineering while they get to experiment with flight and launch their creations.
This is an engaging and creative team-building activity where children use marshmallows and spaghetti to construct unique structures while learning about engineering and collaboration.
For this workshop, we created catapults with rubber bands, tape and popsicle sticks! Through explanations of kinetic and potential energy, we ensured that the kids had fun while learning basic physics concepts.
We challenged the kids' creativity in this workshop where we asked them to design and create a parachute so that when an egg is dropped from a tall height, it won't break. Before conducting our final test at the end of our workshop, the groups and pairs working together uniquely customized their egg safety devices (see pictures above for some of their amazing devices and designs).
